Jeddah (UNA) – The Director General of the Union of News Agencies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr. Mohammed bin Abdrabuh Al-Yami, received today Mr. Jonathan Sparrow, CEO of the Russian company Aquarius, which specializes in modern technologies, at the Union’s headquarters in Jeddah.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation, with a focus on how to leverage the company's advanced technologies to improve the performance of news agencies in OIC countries.
This meeting comes within the framework of the Union of News Agencies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) countries' ongoing efforts to enhance cooperation with international entities specializing in technology and big data processing, contributing to media integration among member states and enabling them to address contemporary technological challenges.
