Jeddah (UNA) - Director General of the Union of OIC News Agencies, Mohammed bin Abd Rabbuh Al-Yami, met today, Wednesday, with the Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti to the Kingdom, Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Diaa Eddin Saeed Bamakhrama, via video call.
During the meeting, the Director General briefed the Ambassador of Djibouti on some of the Union’s programmes, activities and vision for serving the OIC member states in the media.
He also reviewed aspects of cooperation between the Union and the Republic of Djibouti, and the Union’s role in highlighting the achievements of the Republic of Djibouti and its capabilities at various economic, cultural, historical and tourism levels.
For his part, the Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti appreciated the media initiatives of the Union and its efforts to bring together media institutions in the OIC countries.
