Jeddah (UNA) - The Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, His Excellency Mr. Farid bin Saad Al-Shehri, received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters in Jeddah on Wednesday (December 4, 2024), the Director General of the Union of News Agencies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States, His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Abdrabuh Al-Yami.
During the meeting, Al-Shahri congratulated the Director General of UNA on the issuance of the decision to appoint him as the Director General of the Union. He also listened to an explanation of the Union’s activities and programs in serving Islamic countries through the media and introducing their achievements.
During the meeting, topics of common interest were discussed and ways to enhance cooperation were discussed.
