“UNA” launches a live broadcast service for Hajj activities 1445 AH on its website

grandmother (UNA) - The Union of News Agencies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Countries announced (UNA) announced the launch of the live broadcast service on the Al-Ittihad digital platform for Hajj and Umrah rituals from the Holy Mosque in Mecca and the Holy Sites, through Saudi TV.
The Director General of the Federation, Mr. Muhammad bin Abd Rabbuh Al-Yami, explained that this service comes within the framework of the Federation’s activities to provide live and immediate coverage of the Hajj season of 1445 AH, and to document the great efforts made by the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his Crown Prince, the Secretary-General His Highness His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, to serve the pilgrims and provide all the facilities that enable them to perform their rituals with ease and reassurance.
Al-Yami pointed out that the live broadcast service also enables member news agencies in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation countries to obtain a direct and reliable source for all news related to Hajj, which contributes to strengthening the joint media work of news agencies in conveying this great ritual.
On this occasion, Al-Yami praised the great efforts made by the official media system in the Kingdom, under the supervision and follow-up of His Excellency the Minister of Information and Chairman of the Union’s Executive Council, Mr. Salman Al-Dossary, to provide professional coverage of the Hajj season, and to facilitate the work of journalists coming from different parts of the world to cover Hajj work.
The Union has also dedicated a special section on its digital platform for Hajj news, which includes various photos, videos, and press articles related to Hajj, and is updated around the clock in the three official languages ​​of the Union (Arabic, English, and French), in addition to a number of widely used international languages.
