“UNA” and the Central African News Agency sign a memorandum of understanding

Salé (UNA) - Yesterday, Tuesday, the Union of News Agencies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (UNA) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Central African News Agency, on the sidelines of the Union’s participation in the work of the seventh session of the General Assembly of the Atlantic Federation of African News Agencies (FAAPA), which was held in The city of Salé, the Kingdom of Morocco, during the period 22-23 January 2024.

The memorandum aims to establish comprehensive and effective media cooperation between the two sides, provide coverage of their activities, enhance news exchange between them, and strengthen the relationship between the Union and official media institutions in the Central African Republic.

The memorandum comes within the framework of the Union’s keenness to strengthen its media presence on the African continent, and to contribute to highlighting the continent’s achievements at various levels and combating widespread stereotypes about it.
