12 martyrs and dozens wounded in the bombing of an UNRWA school in the Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip

Gaza (UNA/WAFA) - At least 12 citizens were martyred, and dozens of others were injured, in an Israeli occupation artillery shelling, Monday afternoon, on a UNRWA school that houses hundreds of displaced people.

Local sources said that occupation artillery targeted an UNRWA school in the “Block 12” area of ​​the Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip, housing displaced persons from areas of the northern Gaza Strip, which led to at least 12 martyrs and dozens injured.

The sources added that about two thousand displaced people were sheltering in this school, with hundreds of them arriving in batches over the past few days.

In non-final statistics, the Ministry of Health announced that the number of martyrs in the Gaza Strip had risen to more than 12,200 martyrs, including about 5000 children, 3250 women, and 690 elderly people, while the number of injured reached more than 29500, and more than 4000 citizens are still in Missing, including 2000 children.
