Kuwait (INA) – The Somali Minister of Education, Culture and Higher Education, Dr. Abdul Rahman Othman, praised today, Sunday, the cultural efforts being carried out by the (Abdulaziz Saud Al-Babtain Cultural Foundation) in the Arab world and internationally. The Al-Babtain Central Library of Arabic Poetry stated in a press statement that the Somali minister praised, during a visit to the library, the efforts of the poet Al-Babtain, Chairman of the Library's Board of Directors, and his cultural role. He expressed his happiness with this visit. The statement explained. The Director General of the Library, Suad Al-Ateeqi, received the Somali Minister and the accompanying delegation, which included the Ambassador of the Republic of Somalia to Kuwait, Abdul Qadir Sheikh, and accompanied them on an introductory tour in the corridors of the Library. He stated that the Somali delegation got acquainted during the tour with the library halls and the various information containers they contain, such as rare books, manuscripts, university theses and periodicals. They were also briefed on the information services provided by the library and its pioneering role in community development in Kuwait.
