
London (UNA/QNA) - The State of Qatar, represented by Qatar Tourism, participated in the "World Travel Market 2024" exhibition, which kicked off today in the British capital, London, and will continue until November XNUMX, with wide international participation.
During its participation in the exhibition, Qatar Tourism reviewed the latest developments in the tourism sector in the State of Qatar, as it led a delegation comprising 33 partners from the tourism sector and four partner institutions.
The Visit Qatar pavilion, the marketing and promotional arm of Qatar Tourism, extends over two floors and hosts a group of the finest hotels, in addition to a number of tourism destination management companies and leading institutions in the hospitality sector.
Qatar Airways, Discover Qatar, Katara Hospitality and Qatar Calendar are also participating in supporting the pavilion and enhancing the State of Qatar’s presence at this prominent global event.
The pavilion offers a unique experience for its visitors, extending over an area of 609 square meters, combining modernity and cultural authenticity, through cultural workshops, in addition to the “Visit Qatar” café, which provides visitors with the opportunity to experience the authentic Qatari taste by offering luxurious dates, as well as a special pavilion for the “Merial” water park, which includes the longest water slide in the world.
In addition, the pavilion provides digital interaction for visitors to the exhibition, enhancing Qatar’s attractiveness as a distinct tourist destination.
Through the participation of its marketing and promotional arm (Visit Qatar) in the most prominent international exhibitions such as the World Travel Market, Qatar Tourism seeks to enhance its commitment to raising Qatar’s international status, and provide communication opportunities between sector leaders and tourism offer providers to explore the latest global trends in this field.
