
Riyadh (UNA/SPA) – The Saudi Ministry of Education is participating in the 2025th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions 9, which will be held in Geneva, Switzerland, from April 13 to 134. The exhibition will feature 1000 scientific inventions, along with more than 35 inventions from 80 countries around the world. 20% of the exhibitors are universities and companies, while XNUMX% are inventors and researchers from the private sector.
161 students from general education, university and technical training, along with a number of faculty members, students and inventors from around the world, are competing to win seven major awards presented by the exhibition, through several inventions in scientific fields included in the exhibition’s activities, including: (safety and marine technology, environmental technology and energy efficiency, nanotechnology and materials science, security and biometric technology, healthcare and medical devices, robotics and electromagnetic technology, transportation and infrastructure, and artificial intelligence).
Dr. Nasser bin Mohammed Al-Aqili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for International Cooperation and head of the participating Saudi delegation, emphasized that the Ministry's participation in the 50th edition of the exhibition this year, 2025, comes within the framework of the Ministry's efforts to support and nurture talented students and enhance their participation in international scientific forums, with a focus on national priorities for research, development, and innovation, in accordance with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which seeks to build a globally competitive citizen. He pointed out that this exhibition is one of the most important and largest international exhibitions in the field of invention and innovation.
The Ministry of Education organized training programs for students participating in the exhibition, aiming to enhance their readiness and enable them to communicate effectively at the international level. A training meeting was held at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh in cooperation with the Salam Project for Cultural Communication, and another meeting was held in cooperation with the King Salman Science Oasis. Specialized workshops were also held to connect inventors with local and international experts and exchange expertise with researchers and entrepreneurs.
