Paris (UNA/WAFA) – Reporters Without Borders released its annual “black” report on Tuesday on the state of press freedom and the safety of journalists around the world, revealing tragic figures that reflect the extent of the risks faced by those who convey the truth in conflict zones.
The report, published by the organization on its official website, showed that last year saw the killing of 67 journalists worldwide, almost half of them in the Gaza Strip.
The international organization held the Israeli occupation army directly responsible for the killing of these journalists while they were covering the bloody events there, indicating a systematic targeting to silence the image and voice in Gaza and the West Bank.
