The Jordan Valley (UNA/WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces obstructed the passage of teachers to schools in the Jordan Valley on Monday through the Hamra and Tayasir military checkpoints.
Azmi Balawneh, the Director of Education in the Tubas and Northern Jordan Valley Governorate, reported that more than one hundred male and female teachers were unable to cross the Hamra and Tayasir checkpoints today, and they stayed at the two checkpoints from 6:30 AM for several hours, and were not allowed to pass.
The educational process in the Jordan Valley is constantly being disrupted due to the frequent closure of the two checkpoints and the prevention of teaching staff from accessing them.
