The Muslim World League condemns the waves of barbaric violence against civilians and their holy sites in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Makkah Al-Mukarramah (UNA) – The Muslim World League strongly condemned the waves of violence and criminal attacks perpetrated by settlers and police forces against civilians, their livelihoods, and their holy sites in the occupied Palestinian territories, the latest of which was the burning of a mosque by settlers in the Salfit Governorate, and the attack by Israeli police on Christians as they tried to enter a church in occupied Jerusalem.

In a statement issued by the General Secretariat of the Muslim World League, His Excellency the Secretary-General, Chairman of the Muslim Scholars Association, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, condemned this criminal act perpetrated by settlers and the police forces of the occupation government against civilians, property, and holy sites in the occupied Palestinian territories, with the support and protection of the occupation government.

His Eminence stressed the urgent need for the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities, and to take an urgent and serious stance to stop this criminal approach, activate firm mechanisms to deter it, and hold those responsible accountable.
