The Coordinating Council of the Private Sector calls on the international community to take action to stop the destruction of the Palestinian economy.

Ramallah (UNA/WAFA) – The Coordinating Council of Palestinian Private Sector Institutions condemned “the terrorist crime committed by terrorist settlers under the protection of the Israeli occupation army against the facilities of a dairy company in the industrial zone in Beit Lid, which resulted in the burning of trucks and company property and caused heavy losses.”

In a statement, the Council condemned the attack as an organized act of terrorism aimed at destroying the Palestinian economy and undermining the resilience of its institutions. It held the occupying government fully responsible for these repeated crimes, which are carried out with its knowledge and protection, and which target all members of our people in the streets, villages, and cities..

The Council called on the international community to take immediate action to stop settler terrorism, designate settlers as terrorists on global lists, and compel Israel to cease its crimes and hold perpetrators accountable. It also emphasized that targeting the Palestinian economy is a direct attack on the Palestinian people's right to life, dignity, and development..

The Coordinating Council of Palestinian Private Sector Institutions includes: the Federation of Palestinian Businessmen Associations, the Palestinian Trade Center – PalTrade, the General Union of Palestinian Industries, the Federation of Palestinian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, the Association of Banks, the Federation of Insurance Companies, the Information Systems Companies Association “Beta”, Administrative Services for Tourism Institutions, the Contractors Union, the Arab Hotels Association, the Palestinian Shippers Council, the Businesswomen’s Forum, and the Association of Auditors.
