Colombian President: Current unrest in the Middle East began with the bombing of Palestinian children

Bogota (UNA/WAFA) – Colombian President Gustavo Petro said that all the current unrest in the Middle East “began with the bombing of Palestinian children in the Gaza Strip.”
On the X platform, Petro posted a clip of a pro-Palestinian protest in the German capital, Berlin, in which he attacked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He accompanied his post with a warning of the "danger of a third world war."
He said: “It all started with the bombing of Palestinian children and the genocide of the people of Gaza. Now we are on the brink of a world war.”
President Petro added: “The starting point for a solution is for Netanyahu to stop bombing Palestine, declare a ceasefire, and stop endangering all of humanity.”
