Gaza (UNA/WAFA) – Five citizens were killed and others injured on Sunday morning by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire while waiting to receive food aid in various parts of the Gaza Strip.
WAFA correspondents reported, citing medical sources, that three citizens waiting for aid were killed near the Netzarim crossing in the central Gaza Strip.
The same sources added that two citizens were killed and dozens were injured after being shot by Israeli occupation forces near an aid distribution point west of Rafah.
A number of citizens were also injured when the occupation forces opened fire on them while they were waiting to receive aid in Khan Yunis in the south.
A number of citizens were also injured as a result of the occupation's artillery shelling while they were waiting for aid in the Al-Tawam area in the north.
A short while ago, an Israeli airstrike targeted Hamad Residential City, north of Khan Yunis.
It's worth noting that the occupation forces have targeted aid distribution points in Rafah and the central Gaza Strip for weeks, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries. This move, according to UN confirmations, is intended to forcibly displace residents, as part of what appears to be a strategy of ethnic cleansing.
The total number of martyrs since the start of the aid distribution points mechanism on 2005/5/27 has reached more than 100 martyrs, and dozens of wounded.
Thus, yesterday, the aid distribution centers of the Israeli-American Gaza Relief Foundation, a UN-rejected organization, were transformed into mass killing traps, not to mention the deliberate violation of citizens' dignity and forced displacement amid catastrophic humanitarian conditions.
The genocide left more than 183 dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11 missing. Hundreds of thousands were displaced, and famine claimed the lives of many, including children, as well as widespread destruction.
