The Israeli aggression against Jenin and Tulkarm continues: expanding bulldozing and destruction operations and ongoing field escalation.

Jenin, Tulkarm (UNA/WAFA) – The Israeli occupation forces continued their aggression on the cities of Jenin and Tulkarm and their camps. The aggression entered its 114th day in Jenin and 108th in Tulkarm, leaving behind widespread destruction and serious violations.
In Jenin, the occupation army expanded its bulldozing and destruction operations inside Jenin camp, demolishing it, altering its features, and obliterating its identity. Meanwhile, entry and access to the camp continue to be prohibited.
The Jenin Municipality estimates that as the offensive enters its 114th day, the occupation authorities have completely demolished approximately 600 homes in the camp, while the rest have been partially damaged and rendered uninhabitable. Meanwhile, the occupation continues to fire live ammunition intensively in the camp.
A WAFA correspondent noted that the effects of the occupation's aggression were not limited to the camp alone, but extended to the city of Jenin, causing significant damage to facilities, homes, and infrastructure, particularly in the eastern neighborhood and the Al-Hadaf neighborhood.
She noted that, in light of the ongoing aggression, families from the camp, as well as hundreds of families from the city and its surrounding areas, are still being forcibly displaced. The Jenin Municipality reports that the number of displaced persons from the camp and city has exceeded 22.
The economic situation in Jenin is also deteriorating, with massive commercial losses resulting from the aggression estimated at approximately $300 million so far. Many businesses have been forced to close due to bulldozing and the destruction of infrastructure and streets, particularly in the western neighborhoods, which are experiencing near-total economic paralysis. Furthermore, there has been a decline in shopping traffic entering the city from outside.
On the ground, villages in Jenin Governorate are witnessing near-daily raids as the aggression against the city and camp continues. Daily incursions are being recorded in most villages in the governorate, alongside the constant presence of occupation patrols and vehicles.
This morning, forces arrested four young men from Anza and Meithalun, south of Jenin. Occupation forces patrolled the streets of the Interior Roundabout and the camp's surroundings, particularly near Jenin Governmental Hospital. Occupation forces also stormed the town of Silat al-Harithiya, firing live ammunition at civilians.
Since the start of the aggression on the city and camp on January 21, 40 people have been killed, along with dozens more injured and arrested.
In Tulkarm, the occupation forces continued their aggression on the city and its camp for the 108th consecutive day, while the assault on the Nur Shams camp continued for the 95th day, amid increasing escalation on the ground and ongoing military reinforcements.
A WAFA correspondent said that the occupation forces sent military vehicles towards the city and its two camps from the Nitzani Oz checkpoint gate to the west, where they patrolled the main streets, provocatively honking their horns and deliberately driving against traffic, obstructing the movement of citizens and vehicles.
She added that the city is witnessing a large presence of infantry units, especially on Nablus Street along the road connecting Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps, going back and forth towards Shuweika Roundabout and Al-Alimi Street, obstructing the movement of citizens and vehicles.
In a related development, the occupation forces are continuing their escalation in the Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps, under a tight siege, preventing residents from entering to check on their homes or take any of their essentials. The sounds of explosions, live ammunition, and sound bombs are being heard throughout the area.
Over the past few days, Nur Shams camp has witnessed widespread demolition and destruction of residential buildings in the neighborhoods of Al-Manshiya, Al-Maslakh, Al-Jami', Al-Eyada, and Al-Shuhada, as part of the occupation's plan to demolish 106 homes and residential buildings in Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps. Tension continues to prevail in the camp, with residents anticipating a new wave of demolitions after being forcibly displaced from their homes.
The occupation continues to seize homes and residential buildings on Nablus Street and the adjacent northern neighborhood, turning them into military barracks after forcing residents to evacuate. Meanwhile, military vehicles continue to be stationed in the area, noting that some of these buildings have been under occupation control for more than two months.
The ongoing Israeli aggression and escalation against the city of Tulkarm and its two refugee camps resulted in the deaths of 13 citizens, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens were also injured and arrested, and the infrastructure, homes, shops, and vehicles were completely and partially demolished, burned, vandalized, looted, and robbed.
The aggression also resulted in the forced displacement of more than 4200 families from the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, comprising over 25 residents. It also resulted in the complete destruction of more than 400 homes and the partial destruction of 2573 others. Furthermore, the entrances and alleys were sealed off with earth mounds, transforming them into isolated areas devoid of any sign of life.
