Mass demonstrations in several American cities demanding an end to the war of extermination in Gaza.

New York (UNA/WAFA) – Major US cities witnessed massive demonstrations in solidarity with the Palestinian people, in light of the ongoing war of extermination in the Gaza Strip. Demonstrators called for an immediate ceasefire, a ban on arms exports to Israel, and the urgent delivery of humanitarian aid.
Hundreds of demonstrators gathered in New York City's Herald Square, demanding an immediate ceasefire and an arms embargo on Israel. They also expressed their opposition to the use of American taxpayer money to fund military operations targeting civilians in Gaza.
Demonstrations were also held in Washington, D.C., Milwaukee, Dallas, San Francisco, and Chicago as part of the international "Global Day of Action for Gaza," expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people as the war of extermination continues.
Participants raised slogans expressing their rejection of Israel's criminal war against the Palestinians and their deep concern over the dire humanitarian conditions in Gaza over the past 18 months. They demanded the opening of the crossings and the immediate delivery of humanitarian aid to the Strip.
In the same context, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) severed its ties with Elbit Systems (Israel's largest arms manufacturer), following ongoing pressure from students and pro-Palestinian protesters.
