Lazzarini: Gaza's children are starving as Israel continues to block food from entering.

New York (UNA/WAFA) – The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, said that children in Gaza are starving due to the deliberate starvation policy pursued by the Israeli occupation authorities, which have continued to close the Strip’s crossings and prevent the entry of food and other essentials since March 3.
"In Gaza, children are starving," Lazzarini added in statements via the X platform.
He continued: "The Israeli government continues to prevent the entry of food and other essentials. This is a man-made, politically motivated starvation."
He explained that the tight blockade imposed by Israel since March 2nd is approaching its second month, saying, "This continues while calls for the entry of supplies fall on deaf ears."
It is noteworthy that the United Nations World Food Programme announced yesterday, Friday, that its food stocks in Gaza had completely depleted due to the blockade.
