Jordan Valley (UNA/WAFA) – Three citizens were shot and wounded early Thursday morning during a settler attack on the village of Bardala in the northern Jordan Valley.
Local sources reported that a group of settlers attacked the outskirts of the village and attempted to steal livestock. They then began firing live ammunition at residents who attempted to confront them, wounding three residents in their lower extremities.
Palestinian Red Crescent Society sources told WAFA that Israeli occupation forces blocked an ambulance heading to the village at the Ain al-Baida junction, preventing it from passing, despite calls from residents due to the presence of injuries.
In the same context, settlers set fire to tents and livestock pens in the village of Bardala at dawn today.
Human rights activist Aref Daraghmeh reported that settlers attacked the West Bardala area and set fire to residential tents and livestock pens belonging to a resident.
It's worth noting that the village of Bardala has been subjected to escalating attacks by settlers for months, following the establishment of a pastoral colonial outpost west of the village late last year. The settlers have used this outpost as a launching pad for their attacks on the village and its residents.
