The Palestinian Foreign Ministry warns of the plans of colonial organizations against Al-Aqsa Mosque and calls for international intervention to stop them.

Ramallah (UNA/WAFA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates warned of the danger of what is being circulated on platforms affiliated with colonial organizations regarding the bombing and demolition of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the construction of the alleged temple in its place.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry, in a statement issued Saturday, considered the reports circulating in this regard to be a systematic incitement to escalate the targeting of Christian and Islamic holy sites in occupied Jerusalem, especially since the ruling Israeli right has begun to feel empowered to implement its expansionist and racist Judaization plans, amidst muted international responses to the genocidal crimes it is committing, particularly in the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry called on the international community and its relevant UN institutions to deal with this incitement with the utmost seriousness and to take the measures required by international law to put an end to the Israeli government's isolation of our people, and to compel it to adhere to the international and regional will for peace, comply with international legitimacy resolutions and the international consensus to halt the genocide, and to provide the mechanisms necessary to protect our people.
In this context, today, the occupation forces transformed the city of Jerusalem, especially the Bab al-Amoud area and the neighborhoods of the Old City, into a military barracks.
Local sources told WAFA that Israeli occupation forces set up military checkpoints on the roads leading to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in the Old City, checked the IDs of a number of young men and prevented them from entering, and imposed strict military measures at the checkpoints surrounding occupied Jerusalem.
