UNRWA: 124 people displaced in Gaza within days due to Israeli bombing

New York (UNA/WAFA) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced that 124 people have been displaced from the Gaza Strip in a matter of days, due to the ongoing Israeli bombing, while calling at the same time for an end to the siege imposed on Gaza.

UNRWA said in a post on the X platform that “124 people were displaced within days, forced to flee the ongoing bombardment, with families carrying little of what they have, without shelter, safety, or anywhere else to go.”

She added that the Israeli occupation authorities have cut off all aid, leaving food scarce and prices rising, describing the situation in the Gaza Strip as a "humanitarian tragedy."

Since the occupation resumed its war of extermination on March 18, more than 750 civilians have been killed and nearly 1400 others injured, most of them children and women, amidst the occupation's warplanes, drones, and artillery bombardment of homes, facilities, hospitals, displaced persons' tents, vehicles, and civilian gatherings.

Since October 2023, 163, the Israeli occupation has been committing genocide in the Gaza Strip, leaving more than 14 dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than XNUMX missing.
