The occupation decides to demolish dozens of homes in Jenin camp.

Jenin (UNA/WAFA) - The Israeli occupation army intends to demolish 66 Palestinian homes in Jenin camp in the coming hours, in light of the process of genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people.

Jenin Municipality media official Bashir Matahin said in press statements on Wednesday that the occupation forces published an announcement announcing their intention to blow up 66 homes in Jenin camp within the next 24 hours. He added that the occupation army prevented displaced homeowners from returning to their homes to retrieve their belongings.

"What's happening in the camp indicates the occupation's intention to remain in the camp for a long time, especially since the destruction has affected approximately 600 homes, rendering them uninhabitable," Matahin said.

Commenting on the occupation's decision to demolish dozens of homes in Jenin camp, the Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah) affirmed that the decision confirms beyond any doubt that what is happening in the camp and in the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps is a systematic crime of ethnic cleansing, adding that this fascist decision came in parallel with the forced displacement of refugees in the Palestinian refugee camps inside Jenin and Tulkarm.
Fatah added, in a statement issued by the Information, Culture, and Intellectual Mobilization Commission on Wednesday, that the forced displacement of refugees from camps and the demolition of homes will not obliterate historical facts, nor will they squander our people's national rights, foremost among which are the right of return and compensation.

She added that the genocidal targeting of refugee camps, as a living witness, is part of the occupation's plans to liquidate the right of return, indicating that this coincides with the Israeli occupation's resumption of its war of extermination against the Gaza Strip, which demonstrates its displacement goals as part of its colonial-settler project.

Fatah affirmed that the Palestinian people will not give up or compromise their legitimate national rights, particularly the right of return and compensation for Palestinian refugees, nor will they abandon their land. They will implement their national liberation project by establishing an independent, fully sovereign Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital. The movement called on the international community to intervene immediately and decisively to halt Israel's systematic war of extermination against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
