The Palestinian Foreign Ministry renews its call for urgent international action to stop the occupation’s crimes against the Palestinian people

Ramallah (UNA/WAFA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates renewed its call on the international community on Thursday to take urgent and effective action and compel the Israeli occupation to stop its aggression on the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, amidst the commission of more crimes and systematic destruction of the necessities of life, and to achieve a sustainable ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

He said that the occupation is committing the crime of forcibly displacing more than 30 Palestinian citizens from their homes, bulldozing infrastructure, demolishing homes, and changing the features of Palestinian camps, as well as military raids on Palestinian towns, camps, and cities throughout the West Bank, accompanied by destruction, vandalism, and tampering with homes, terrorizing peaceful civilians, including children and women, random mass arrests, and depriving citizens of their basic civil liberties, most notably their freedom of movement in their homeland, in the ugliest forms of colonial apartheid systems.

The Foreign Ministry called for serious international positions to stop the ongoing aggression against the Palestinian people, and not to be satisfied with condemnations or expressing concern or fears, noting that international silence on these crimes encourages the occupation to continue committing more of them, and provides it with the time needed to complete the crimes of ethnic cleansing, displacement and annexation.
