For the 24th day, the occupation continues its aggression on Jenin and its camp: massive destruction of infrastructure, demolition and demolition of homes

Jenin (UNA/WAFA) – The Israeli occupation continues its aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp for the twenty-fourth consecutive day, leaving 25 martyrs, dozens of injuries, and massive destruction to infrastructure and property.

Assistant Governor of Jenin Governorate Mansour Al-Saadi said that the occupation completely destroyed about 120 homes in Jenin camp, in addition to burning and blowing up homes and citizens’ properties in the neighborhoods of Al-Damj, Al-Aloub, Al-Bishr, Al-Hawashin and Joura Al-Dhahab.

He added that the occupation forced about 20 thousand citizens to flee from Jenin camp, where it completely emptied it, while it continues to send military reinforcements accompanied by bulldozers to the city and the camp's surroundings.

A WAFA correspondent said that the occupation continues to pave new streets and roads deep inside the camp, as it published pictures from the Al-Damj neighborhood of signs placed by the occupation army along the streets, written in Hebrew, and it is said that they are the names of streets that have been expanded or opened.

In a related context, Jenin Municipality crews, in cooperation with the governorate and private companies, were able to rehabilitate Jenin Governmental Hospital Street, which the occupation bulldozers are continuously and almost daily destroying during the ongoing aggression.

According to the director of Jenin Hospital, Dr. Wissam Bakr, the hospital is still suffering from a water shortage due to the destruction of the water networks that connect to the hospital.

He added that the medical staff suffers from difficulty in entering and exiting the hospital due to the bulldozing of the street leading to it, and that the hospital departments are operating at the minimum level as citizens fear reaching the hospital, which has occupation vehicles in front of its gates on a daily basis.

In turn, the Red Crescent paramedic, Murad Khamayseh, said that the ambulance crews are facing difficulties in entering the camp and transporting the injured, as the occupation is obstructing their entry, and the ambulances are facing difficulty in passing through the streets because they have been completely bulldozed and destroyed.

He added that ambulance crews are trying to transport the injured in small vehicles, especially in the heavily destroyed neighborhoods.

Yesterday, three citizens were injured by the occupation forces’ bullets in Jenin camp, one of whom was a 50-year-old citizen, while another was transferred after being assaulted. Last night, Red Crescent crews transferred a child from the Jalameh military checkpoint who was being held by the occupation forces and he is in good condition.

The occupation soldiers arrested a citizen from the eastern neighborhood after raiding one of the buildings. They also arrested several citizens, including the young man Zakaria Al-Ghoul from Jenin.

The occupation forces are also deployed in the Al-Marah neighborhood in the city, and a drone flew over the area, while its vehicles are stationed on the street connecting the city of Jenin and the town of Arrana, where they detained citizens’ vehicles and checked the identities of their owners, while the occupation stormed the town of Arraba, south of Jenin, and combed its streets.

According to the prisoners' institutions, the number of detainees and prisoners in Jenin has reached 110 citizens, and this number is subject to increase on a daily basis due to the ongoing aggression.
