For the seventh day in a row: The occupation continues its aggression on the town of Tamoun and the Far’a camp

Tubas (UNA/WAFA) – The Israeli occupation forces continued their aggression on the town of Tamoun and the Far’a refugee camp, south of Tubas, for the seventh consecutive day, by sending military reinforcements and closing all entrances to the two areas.

A WAFA correspondent said that the occupation forces continue to force families in the area to evacuate their homes and use them as military barracks, while they continue to raid other homes and destroy their contents, while conducting field investigations with citizens and arresting others.

The director of the Prisoners Club in Tubas, Kamal Bani Odeh, reported that the occupation forces arrested five citizens yesterday, Friday: Samer Sobhi Bani Odeh, Mahmoud Hamed Bani Odeh from Tamoun, Imad Ahmed Sobh, Ahmed Raslan, and Anas Jabr Zalat from Al-Far’a camp, in addition to detaining dozens and conducting field investigations with them.

He added that the total number of detainees since the beginning of the aggression on Tamoun and Al-Far'a camp reached 80 detainees, most of them from the town of Tamoun. 59 of them were later released, while 21 detainees remained with the occupation.

The occupation bulldozers are still continuing to bulldoze streets and destroy infrastructure in Tamoun and Al-Far'a camp, while main water lines are still cut off, in addition to the power outage in parts of Tamoun and Al-Far'a camp.

As the siege continues, the need for basic food supplies, in addition to baby milk, increases for citizens in Al-Far’a camp and Tamoun town.

The correspondent pointed out that the occupation forces dropped bombs via their drones on different areas of the town of Tamoun over the past few days, with the aim of terrorizing the citizens and forcing them not to move.

The town of Tamoun has been facing increasing agricultural losses since the beginning of the aggression, due to the farmers’ inability to reach their lands, harvest their crops and care for them. In addition, livestock and livestock breeders have not been able to reach livestock and poultry farms until now, knowing that they need follow-up, watering and feed, which threatens the death of large numbers of them and the occurrence of major losses in this area.

The occupation's drones and warplanes continue their intensive flights in the skies of Tubas Governorate.
