Immediate and permanent aggression, war of annihilation and forced displacement launched by Israel against the Palestinians in Gaza, allowing the entry of humanitarian aid and lifting the siege, and ensuring that the Palestinian people regain all their inalienable rights, especially the right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent and fully sovereign State of Palestine on the borders of June 1967, XNUMX. And ensuring the accountability of all those responsible for the violations and crimes committed against him.

This came in a statement delivered by Her Excellency Dr. Hind Abdul Rahman Al-Muftah, Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar in Geneva, during the interactive dialogue with the Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territories, including East Jerusalem and Israel, within the framework of the fifty-sixth session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva.

It stressed that the Israeli forces’ use in their aggression against the Gaza Strip of policies of killing, starvation, siege, and complete destruction of infrastructure and civilian facilities, especially hospitals and schools, and cutting off supplies of water, electricity, fuel, food, and treatment, clearly reflects the Israeli desire to continue revenge and collective punishment against the Palestinians and to destroy the Gaza Strip and make it an unacceptable place. For a decent life.

She expressed the State of Qatar's condemnation of the continued failure of the Israeli occupation authorities to cooperate with the Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territories, and to allow it access to the occupied Palestinian territories to enable it to carry out its mandate, in line with the extent of the crimes of genocide and grave violations of international laws and agreements committed by Israel. The occupying power has been in power for more than seven decades.
