The number of Palestinian refugees in Syria has decreased

Beirut (ENA) - The United Nations Palestinian Relief Agency said that the number of Palestinian refugees in Syria has declined by a fifth since the beginning of the Syrian conflict in 2011. The Director of UNRWA, Pierre Krahenbuhl, said today, Friday, that there are 440 refugees in Syria, compared to about 560. One thousand refugees there before the war, according to Sky News Arabia, citing Agence France-Presse. At the end of a five-day tour that included UNRWA operations in Syria, Krahenbuhl added: Displacement is a very difficult experience.
