Shusha (UNA/AZERTAC) – The Azerbaijani city of Shusha will host the fourth edition of the Shusha Global Media Forum on July 13 and 14, under the theme “The Media’s Role in Promoting Peace: Restoring Truth and Rebuilding Trust.”
The Media Development Agency reported that the forum will see the participation of approximately 160 media representatives, experts and officials from 54 countries, representing about 30 international news agencies and more than 60 leading media institutions, in addition to 10 international organizations and companies.
The forum's activities include panel discussions and interactive sessions focusing on the role of media in peacebuilding, combating media disinformation, digital security, and journalistic ethics in the age of artificial intelligence.
It is worth noting that the forum, which was launched in 2022 and has so far brought together about 600 participants from 81 countries, will focus in its current edition on continuing to discuss issues of digital transformation, innovation and contemporary media challenges.
