Hajj and UmrahHajj reports for the year 1445 AH

More than 2560 copies of the Holy Qur’an were distributed by Islamic Affairs to pilgrims departing through the Empty Quarter crossing.

Dammam (UNA/SPA) - The branch of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance in the Eastern Province has distributed more than 2560 copies of the Holy Qur’an to date. A gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect him - to the pilgrims of the Holy House of God leaving for their homes, through the Rub’ al-Khali border crossing with the sister Sultanate of Oman.

The branch explained that these copies are from the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Noble Qur’an, in various sizes and translations of the meanings of the words of the Holy Qur’an in several international languages, as part of the Ministry’s plan to distribute more than 41,740 copies of the Noble Qur’an through the outlets of the Eastern Region with the sisterly Gulf countries.

A number of pilgrims expressed their happiness and gratitude for the generous gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, expressing their deep appreciation for this gift, which added a positive dimension to their experience in performing Hajj rituals, explaining that this gift will be an everlasting memory that accompanies them to their homes, praising the Kingdom’s efforts in serving Islam and Muslims and facilitating the performance of Hajj. Their rituals are easy and simple.
