The UAE distributes a quarter of a million meals to the pilgrims

Dubai (INA) – The Emirati Pilgrim Affairs Office began distributing about a quarter of a million meals to the pilgrims of the Sacred House of God on behalf of the builder and founder of the UAE, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan, God willing. The head of the office, Muhammad al-Mazrouei, said in a press statement that the focus of distributing meals will be more on the day of Arafah and in Muzdalifah and the days of al-Tashreeq. For its part, the Emirates Red Crescent Authority announced the conclusion of the activities of the clothing campaign for one million children around the world, which was launched by the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, last Ramadan. The authority stated that the campaign exceeded the one million barrier, benefiting 3 million children in 51 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and South America, at a cost of about 123 million dirhams, equivalent to about 34 million dollars.
