ISTANBUL (UNA) – A number of Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) signed the statutes of the organization’s institutions and funds on the sidelines of the 51st session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OIC Member States in Istanbul, Republic of Turkey, on Sunday, June 22, 2025, in the presence of the Assistant Secretary General for Economic Affairs, H.E. Dr. Ahmed Kaweesa Singuendo, on behalf of H.E. the Secretary General of the OIC, Mr. Hussein Ibrahim Taha, and the Director General of the OIC Labour Centre, H.E. Mr. Azer Bayramov.
The Republic of Mali, the Republic of Suriname and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan have signed the Statute of the OIC Labour Centre.
The Republic of Mali also signed the statute of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation's Centre for Police Coordination and Cooperation.
The State of Libya signed the statute of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Fund to support youth in the Sahel and the Sahara Basin region.
