The meeting of the OIC Ad Hoc Ministerial Committee on Accountability for Human Rights Violations against the Rohingya is held on the sidelines of the Istanbul Ministerial.

ISTANBUL (UNA) – The OIC Ad Hoc Ministerial Committee on Accountability for Human Rights Violations against the Rohingya, chaired by His Excellency Dr. Mamadou Tangara, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad of the Republic of The Gambia, convened today, Sunday, June 22, 2025, on the sidelines of the 51st Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OIC Member States, in Istanbul, Turkey.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency the Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs, Yousef bin Mohammed Al-Dubaie.

The meeting expressed support for the case filed against Myanmar before the International Court of Justice to achieve justice and accountability for the Rohingya people and discussed recent developments related to this case.
