Jeddah (UNA) - The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expresses his strong condemnation of the terrorist attacks that took place on April 17 and 18, 2025, in northern Benin, which claimed the lives of dozens of soldiers and injured dozens more in the country.
The Secretary-General extends his condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims of these heinous attacks, and to the Government and people of Benin, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
The Secretary-General reiterates the OIC's support for Benin in its fight against terrorism and stresses the importance of international and regional cooperation and solidarity to combat this threat to peace and stability in the region.
