Jeddah (UNA) – The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) hosted a virtual symposium titled “Breezes of Faith,” which discussed the virtues of the holy month of Ramadan. The symposium, held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, addressed several issues related to the holy month. The symposium stems from the General Secretariat’s keenness to promote and develop cultural content.
The symposium was hosted by His Eminence Dr. Muhammad Mustafa Ahmad Shuaib, Director of the Department of Research, Studies, Encyclopedias, Translation, and Printing at the International Islamic Fiqh Academy.
Dr. Shoaib discussed the issues of fasting, its reality, the Holy Quran during the month of Ramadan, what Muslims should do during this blessed month, the ease of this holy month, and the preservation of deeds after completion.
It is worth noting that Dr. Shuaib holds a PhD in Sharia, Law, and Comparative Jurisprudence, as well as a PhD in Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence. He is a faculty member at the International University of Madinah, and has participated in numerous arbitrations, supervisions, and scholarly discussions.
