Jeddah (UNA) - Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian, Social and Cultural Affairs, Ambassador Tariq Ali Bakhit, met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs of the Republic of Yemen, Mustafa Noman.
During the meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the extraordinary meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in the Saudi city of Jeddah on Friday evening, March 7, 2025, ways to enhance cooperation between Yemen and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in the humanitarian, social and cultural framework were discussed.
The two sides stressed the need to continue communication and coordination through mutual visits to develop joint programmes in these areas.
