Jeddah (UNA) – On February 4, 2025, the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr. Hussein Ibrahim Taha, received in his office at the General Secretariat headquarters, Mr. Murat Ilyalti, Secretary General of the Turkish Red Crescent.
During the meeting, the Secretary-General praised the humanitarian efforts of the Turkish Red Crescent in Türkiye and its support for communities affected by armed conflicts and natural disasters in some OIC member states.
The two sides discussed prospects for enhancing cooperation between the two organizations in the humanitarian file.
