Jeddah (UNA) – The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr. Hussein Ibrahim Taha, participated in the meeting of the Selection Committee for the King Faisal Prize for Service to Islam for the year 2025, chaired by Prince Turki Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Founder and Member of the Board of Trustees of the King Faisal Foundation, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, to select the winners of the XNUMXth session of the Prize, in the capital, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
It is worth mentioning that the King Faisal Prize for Service to Islam aims to honor the outstanding efforts of individuals or institutions that provide services that benefit Islam and Muslims. Eligible to receive the Prize are those who provide services to Islam and Muslims through their knowledge and advocacy, or who make a distinguished effort that results in a benefit for Islam and Muslims, and thereby achieve one or more of the Prize’s objectives, according to the assessment of the esteemed committee.
