Jeddah (UNA) – On January 26, 2025, the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr. Hussein Ibrahim Taha, received in his office at the General Secretariat headquarters, the Consul General of the Republic of Iraq and Permanent Representative to the Organization, Mr. Mohammed Samir Al-Naqshbandi.
During the meeting, the Secretary-General praised Iraq's pioneering role in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and joint Islamic action.
The two sides discussed prospects for cooperation between the organization and the Republic of Iraq and a number of topics of common interest.
