Jeddah (UNA) – The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr. Hussein Ibrahim Taha, received in his office at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Organization today, January 27, 2025, Ambassador Shahin Abdullayev, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Organization.
The two sides praised the level of relations between the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Republic of Azerbaijan, and discussed prospects for cooperation in various fields. The Secretary-General praised Azerbaijan's support for the Organization's activities and for joint Islamic action.
They also discussed several issues on the agenda of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
