Jeddah (UNA) - The Organization of Islamic Cooperation strongly condemned the military aggression launched by the Israeli occupation against Nour Shams camp, east of Tulkarm, which resulted in the martyrdom and wounding of a number of citizens and the arrest and torture of dozens of them, in addition to the deliberate destruction of infrastructure, homes and property.
It considered this an extension of the ongoing genocidal crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
The organization renewed its call on the international community to assume its responsibilities towards obligating the Israeli occupation to stop its military aggression and continuing violations throughout the occupied Palestinian territory, and to provide protection for the Palestinian people, in implementation of the relevant United Nations resolutions.
