The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation holds a diplomatic Ramadan meeting in Jeddah

grandmother (UNA) - The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hussein Ibrahim Taha, held today, Monday, March 18, 2024 in Jeddah, a Ramadan meeting that included an iftar banquet that brought together Their Excellencies the permanent delegates of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, consuls and diplomats from non-member states, in addition to those in charge of the agencies and institutions. The branched, specialized and affiliated branch, which is headquartered in Jeddah, and the assistant secretaries-general of the organization’s General Secretariat, and its employees, in addition to a group of guests of honor who represent different sectors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as a number of media figures and writers.

The meeting represented an important opportunity to enhance rapprochement between the organization and its incubating environment in Jeddah, and to create bridges of acquaintance and cooperation with various institutions within the ancient coastal city.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation is keen to hold this ceremony every Ramadan to strengthen the bonds of cooperation with member states, institutions of the headquarters country, scholars, media professionals, and civil society in Jeddah.
