The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation attends the Hajj and Umrah Services Conference and Exhibition

Jeddah (UNA) - At the invitation of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hussein Ibrahim Taha, attended the Hajj and Umrah Services Conference and Exhibition in its third edition for the year 2024 AD, under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

The conference was opened by the Deputy Emir of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on Monday, January 08, 2024 AD in the city of Jeddah, with the participation of a number of Their Highnesses and Excellencies ministers and the presence of those supervising Hajj affairs in their countries, including (50) ministers, muftis and a number Ambassadors and consuls of countries to the Kingdom.

During the ceremony, the Secretary-General met with the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, as well as a number of delegations of member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and ambassadors and consuls of other countries.
