​The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation discusses with the President of Guyana the strengthening of bilateral relations

grandmother (UNA) - Today, Tuesday, the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, held a telephone call with the President of the Republic of Guyana, Dr. Muhammad Irfan Ali, where the Secretary-General congratulated Dr. Irfan on the occasion of his election as President of Guyana and assuming his official duties. The Secretary-General expressed the keenness of the organization and its institutions to strengthen its relations with the Republic of Guyana in various fields and to support its development efforts. For his part, the President of Guyana thanked the Secretary-General for the congratulations and the attention he personally and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation gave to the Republic of Guyana and its role within the organization. He expressed his aspiration for more support from the organization, its institutions and member states so that his country can implement its development programs and projects.
