The Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemns the terrorist attack on two villages in Burkina Faso

Jeddah (UNA) - The Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemned, in the strongest terms, the terrorist attack that took place on Sunday, March 8, 2020, in the villages of Dingouila and Barga, northern Burkina Faso, killing 43 people and injuring others. The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Dr. Youssef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, and to the government and people of Burkina Faso, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured. Al-Othaimeen affirmed the Organization of Islamic Cooperation's support for the efforts of the government of Burkina Faso in combating terrorism, reiterating the principled position of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which strongly condemns all acts of terrorism and violent extremism in all its forms and manifestations.
