Tehran (INA) – The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Iyad Madani, who arrived on Tuesday evening in the Iranian capital, Tehran, is holding bilateral talks with senior Iranian officials. This is the first visit by the new Secretary-General since he took office in early January to Tehran, a member of the organization. The Iranian news agency, which reported the news, said that Madani will meet a number of senior Iranian officials. The agency reported that discussions on bilateral cooperation and developments in the region, especially issues of the Islamic world, including Palestine and the situation in Syria, will be the focus of these meetings.
