Damascus (UNA/QNA) - Syrian Finance Minister Mohammad Yaser Barniyeh discussed with a Turkish delegation headed by Minister of Trade Omar Bolat mechanisms to enhance relations between the two countries in the financial, banking and economic fields.
During the meeting, Minister Barniyeh stressed the Syrian government's keenness to encourage investment by working to create an attractive investment environment, developing and issuing relevant legislation, providing extensive facilitation for this matter, providing a qualified and advanced financial and banking infrastructure, and benefiting from the Turkish experience in this field.
For his part, the Turkish Minister noted his country's support for building a strong economy in Syria, contributing to its reconstruction, improving agriculture and industry, and developing its infrastructure to the benefit of the people of both countries.
