The Saudi Foreign Minister and the Pakistani Foreign Minister chair the meeting of the Special Investment Facilitation Council between the two countries

Islamabad (UNA/SPA) - Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Ishaq Dar, chaired the meeting of the Private Investment Facilitation Council between the two countries, in the presence of the Kingdom’s high-level delegation, which includes the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Engineer Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Mohsen. Al-Fadhli, the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, the Advisor at the Royal Court, Mr. Muhammad bin Mazyad Al-Tuwaijri, the Assistant Minister of Investment, Eng. Ibrahim bin Youssef Al-Mubarak, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki, and a number of senior officials in my ministries. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Energy, the Public Investment Fund, and the Saudi Fund for Development, in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Foreign Minister praised the depth of Saudi-Pakistani relations, stressing that this visit comes as a continuation of the meeting that brought together Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mohammed Shahbaz Sharif, in Mecca, and their aspiration to Promoting investment opportunities in various fields, and supporting investors in the two brotherly countries.

During the meeting, the most prominent opportunities for enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries in various fields were reviewed, and increasing trade exchange was discussed in order to achieve the aspirations of the leadership of the two brotherly countries.
