Riyadh (UNA/SPA) – The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s strongest condemnation of the repeated Iranian attacks targeting the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the State of Kuwait, and the continued attacks on the sovereignty of brotherly countries, which exacerbate tensions in the region.
The ministry said in a statement: The Kingdom calls for calm and avoidance of escalation, and for wisdom to prevail by returning to diplomatic work and completing the constructive negotiations sponsored by the sisterly Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the accompanying efforts of the State of Qatar, in order to spare the region and its peoples the consequences of returning to war, and to contribute to restoring security and stability to the region and the world.
