Jeddah (UNA) – The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation expresses its strong condemnation of the terrorist bombing that targeted a mosque in Islamabad, the capital of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of innocent people.
The General Secretariat affirms the OIC's unequivocal rejection of terrorism in all its forms and the targeting of places of worship. It extends its deepest condolences to the government and people of Pakistan, and to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
The General Secretariat reiterates its full solidarity with Pakistan in its efforts to combat terrorism and maintain its security and stability.
