Lancia (UNA/SPA) - The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of South Africa, Faisal bin Falah Al-Harbi, stressed that the Kingdom plays a global role in spreading the values of moderation, tolerance, rejecting hatred and violence, and promoting peaceful coexistence among followers of different religions and cultures.
He noted the program of visits of the imams of the Two Holy Mosques to Islamic and friendly countries, which is supervised by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, and is witnessing great successes, and is based on the Ministry’s previous experience in organizing and managing international programs and projects such as the program of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ guests for Hajj, Umrah and visitation, and organizing international conferences.
He explained that the presence and honoring of His Eminence the Imam and Preacher of the Grand Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Yasser bin Rashid Al-Dosari, of the winners of the memorizers of the Book of God Almighty, at the fourteenth closing ceremony of the National Competition for Memorizing the Holy Quran at the Noor Al-Islam Islamic Center Mosque in the city of Lancia, yesterday, is a shining image of the Kingdom’s interest and care for the Book of God Almighty at home and abroad, and its role in serving Islam and Muslims.
